NN GALLERY presents a twoman art exhibition "Katharsis", showcasing the
works of Syahrul Niza Ahmad Zaini and Mohd Hairi Yaakub.
The world class musical production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I will be staged in Kuala Lumpur at Istana Budaya from 13 to 26 July 2007. Show promoters, Intan Budaya Presentations, together with producers, Broadway Asia, are giving 10 talented Malaysian children a chance of a lifetime to star alongside an international cast.
Auditions will be held to cast 5 boys and 5 girls between the ages of 5 to 11 as King Mongkut’s children in the Malaysian leg of THE KING AND I’s Asian tour. Amongst the 10 children, the Casting Director will be looking out a pair of twin girls between ages of 5 to 7, and a 8 or 9 year-old girl who will be given a speaking role in the show.
The preliminary round of auditions will be held at Istana Budaya on Saturday, 28 April 2007 and children will be auditioned singing a well-loved tune from THE KING AND I, "Getting to Know You". Shortlisted children will return for a final round of auditions the following month.
