Varied works at the National Art Gallery

A VARIED array of works by influential local experts are on display in Recent Acquisitions at Gallery 3A, National Art Gallery, off Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur from Aug 26 till end of October.
Among the highlights are semi-abstract compositions by Chong Siew Ying, signature figurative (Khalil Ibrahim) and bold and honest canvas (Chong Siew Ying). On view are adroit and charming marble sculpture by Jasmine Kok and Rohaizat Shaari’s works on garden views and street scenes.
Also on display are works by water-colourist Maamor Jantan and a survey of cityscapes and their inhabitants by local photographers Eric Peris and Alex Moh.
