Art in a luxury setting

Oct 5:

THE viewing of interesting artworks is more rewarding in exquisite and luxurious surroundings.

Art aficionados are in for a rare treat as an exhibition by world-renowned artist Eng Tay will be on at Kiaraville Sales Gallery & Office in Mont’ Kiara, Kuala Lumpur from Oct 14 to 30.

Titled "Eng Tay at Kiaraville — An Exhibition of Oil Paintings, Etchings & Sculptures", the exhibition will feature selected oil paintings, etchings and sculptures. Items exhibited are also available for sale.

A New York-based artist, Eng Tay, from Kedah, has achieved critical acclaim in the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia with solo exhibitions at prestigious art venues including Multiple Impressions, New York; Fukuyama Museum of Art, Japan; Crown Art Centre, Taiwan; and Galerie du Monde, Hong Kong, among many others.

Kiaraville is a luxury condominium development. Lim Ech Chan, CEO of Binaderas Sdn Bhd, the developer of Kiaraville, said Kiaraville is pleased to host an exhibition by a world-class artist such as Eng Tay, who is the embodiment of how fellow Malaysians can make it in the world stage.

"Through this exhibition, we would like to enable discerning art lovers the opportunity to enjoy art at its highest standards and possibly even bring home an Eng Tay," Lim said.

Part of the proceeds from the items sold will be donated to the Kiwanis Club Bukit Kiara.
