Art House Gallery at Wisma Cosway in Kuala Lumpur will be holding an exhibition by Chinese artist Wang Yong entitled The Art of Light and Water – Still Lifes.

Born in Sept 1961 in Sichuan, Wang graduated from the Printmaking Department of Hubei Institute of Fine Aerts in 1984. He is also an associate professor at the Printmaking Department and a member of the the Chinese Artists Association. He is also an deputy president of the Hubei Watercolour Painting Association as well as the assistant director of the Hubei Watercolour Arts Committee.



Since his graduation, Wang has participated in various solo and group shows and has won quite a number of accolades to his credit, such as the silver award at the 1991 Xihu Fine Arts Festival in China and the gold award at the Yangtze Cup Watercolour Painting Exhibition in 1993.
