Veteran artists hold joint exhibition

TWO veteran artists held a joint exhibition entitled ‘Landscape Painting’ at the Galeri Seni Mutiara at Lebuh Armenian in Penang recently.
They are Jackson Chih Hsiung Hin from Taiwan and local artist Yeo Eng Hin.
The exhibition was officially opened by Lu Chao Jan, president of the Penang Standing Committee of Taipei Investors Association in Malaysia.
Fifty pieces were on exhibit.
Chih, 55, has been painting for more than 30 years. His accolades include those from his homeland and overseas.
Yeo, 50, is a graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore.
He also studied at the famed Ecole Nationale Superieirre des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Yeo held the post of Head of Fine Arts at the Central Arts Academy in Kuala Lumpur from 1987 until 1989.
A participant of many solo and joint exhibitions locally as well as overseas, he is now director of the Arts Specialist Centre which he started in 1986.
