Sambal nanas goreng

Ingredients
1 medium-sized ripe pineapple
3 shallots
6 pip garlic
½ inch ginger
100g dried shrimp
2-3 tbsp cili boh/chilli paste
belacan
sugar and salt
oil

Method
1. Chop pineapple into small pieces.

2. Pound shallots, garlic, ginger and dried shrimp.

3. Fry all the pounded ingredients.

4. Add in cili boh/chilli paste and fry until fragrant.

5. Add in finely chopped pineapples, sugar and salt.

6. Leave to simmer for at least 30-60 minutes, and stir well from time to time.

Serve with rice.
