Potato vadai
Ingredient
5 potatoes, skin removed, washed and grated into thin strips
1 large onion, chopped finely
2 green chillies, chopped finely
2 tsp salt
2 - 3 cups channa dhall flour (tepung kacang kuda)
1/2 cup water
Oil for frying
Method
1. In a big bowl, mix grated potato, chopped onion, chillies, salt and 1 1/2 cup flour with some water. If batter is too watery, add more flour until you are able to shape the batter with your hands.
2. Shape into vadai, and fry in hot oil.
Serve hot with mint, coconut chutney or chilli sauce.
