Jilebi

Ingredients
2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup yoghurt
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
2 drops orange food colouring
2 tbsp rose water
few strands safron
cooking oil for deep frying

Method
1. Mix flour with baking powder and yoghurt, and turn into a batter.

2. Add orange colouring into the batter and mix well. Keep the batter aside for at least 24 hours.

3. Pour the batter into a ketchup dispensing bottle, and squeeze the batter on the pan which have heated oil in.

4. Fry till brownish and place it in sugar syrup while it is still hot for a moment.

To make the sugar syrup:
Melt sugar with rose water on low heat. Add saffron and cardamom powder for a good smell. Cook till it gets to a boil.
