One of the favourite dishes is the traditional “nasi kerabu".

“God willing, my business is good and I already have loyal customers who visit my stall every Ramadan.”
Another stall owner Razman Abdul Rahman, 36, said he always waited for Ramadan to do business as he would get the chance to prepare food for Muslims.
“It has been four years since I started operating this business during the fasting month. My specialties are cockles and mussels cooked in chilli, which I sell at RM5 per plate.
“On the first day of Ramadan, I prepared 60kg of various shells. At the end of the day, everything was sold out and I have many customers complaining that they didn’t get to buy any.”
