Working together with Guardian Pharmacy, Safwa will provide donations to select charity organisations like Rumah Amal Kasih Bestari and Rumah Anak Kesayanganku throughout the months of Sya’aban, Ramadan and Syawal.

The company will donate RM1 for every Safwa products sold.

The main objective of the campaign is to increase awareness among consumers, especially Muslims, on how to take care of their health.

The campaign, which runs until Oct 31, was officially launched at Giant Kelana Jaya on Aug 18 by Safwa Health business unit manager Normaziah Mohamed and Soon Ai Lan, Guardian general manager of merchandising.

“Muslims who are worried about whether the vitamin supplements and health products they are consuming are halal can be assured that Safwa’s products meet the standard,” said Normaziah.

They have been accorded the halal certification by the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC), which is recognised by Jakim.

“To encourage consumers to do their bit for charity, Guardian is offering a 15 per cent discount on every Safwa health product.

During the promotion, the company is also offering a special promotional package.

For every 90-capsule bottle of Safwa multi-vitamins, EPO or Vitamin C, consumers will get 30 capsules free,” Normaziah added.

Children of Rumah Amal Kasih Bestari put up a special nasyid performance at the launch.

The children were then treated to a buffet.
