an ideal place for vegetarians seeking something delicious amid a contemporary and cosy setting.

The cafe is located at the new headquarters of Beethoven, a multi-level-marketing firm in Jalan Mutiara 7, Taman Perindustrian Plentong.

And on its menu, one can find pizza, pasta, fried rice, mee, salad, gourmet coffee and tea.

Among the favourites is pesto pasta, priced at RM8.80.

Pesto, an aromatic herb paste traditionally made from fresh basil, is quite a treat when mixed with olive oil and tossed with pasta.

A wide range of ice-blended drinks is available, among them dragon rider (RM8.80) and green cooler (RM9.80).

Cafe owner and Beethoven boss Kenny Liow, who is a vegetarian himself, said he wanted to cater not only to vegetarians but also to the "occasional vegetarians" who want a break from meat now and then.

The cafe is open daily from 10am to 10pm.
