KEMAMAN: A 36-year-old man was detained on Tuesday for allegedly molesting his neighbour's 8-year-old daughter.

The 40-year-old mother said both her daughter and 11-year-old son went with the suspect for a car ride. When they returned home, the boy got out of the car first. The girl told her mother that the suspect then fondled her private parts.

Meanwhile in Besut, a 41-year-old man was detained the same day, after attempting to molest his 30-year-old girlfriend in his car.

The victim claimed that at 11pm on Monday, she followed the suspect to obtain a marriage course form.

When they reached their destination he tried to kiss her and fondled her breasts.
