KUALA LUMPUR: A 35-year-old woman is appealing to the public for help in locating her mentally-unsound aunt, who went missing on June 30.
Salinder Kaur said her aunt, Jaswant Kaur Butha Singh, had been missing for more than three weeks and the family is worried over her safety.
She said Jaswant's disappearance on the morning of June 30 was not her first.
"She would usually disappear for a couple of days and then return home.
"But this time, she has not come back."
Salinder added that her aunt, from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, had been seeking psychiatric treatment at Kuala Lumpur Hospital for the past six months. and was on medication.
"I'm afraid that her condition might have worsened, without medication for days.
"She also has no documents on her," said Salinder, who lodged a police report two days after Jaswant left her house in Bangsar.
She said Jaswant was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and brown shorts when she was last seen leaving the house at 8.15am.
