Ex-newsreader files appeal

KUALA LUMPUR: Former RTM newsreader Ter Ai Chin filed an appeal yesterday against the High Court's decision in dismissing her defamation suit against a businessman. Lawyer Karpal Singh filed the appeal at the High Court's Civil Registry and the Court of Appeal in Putrajaya. In her memorandum of appeal, Ter said she was not happy with the court's decision in striking out her suit against businessman Tan Sri Dr Abdul Khalid Sahan.
