SEREMBAN: More than 100 workers at a yarn factory here are facing an uncertain future as they have not been paid for the past three months.
Many of them are above the age of 45 and are worried about what the future holds.
They are seeking RM550,000 in compensation and many turned up at the Labour Court near here yesterday hoping for a favourable decision.
However, they were left disappointed after judge Johana Bakar said she would only make a decision after receiving a document stating that the company's Interim Restraining Order, granted by the Seremban High Court, had been struck out.
Johana then postponed the case to Monday.
The factory in the Senawang Industrial estate is believed to be in financial difficulties and has since closed.
