Housewife's bag snatched

KUALA TERENGGANU: A 30-year-old housewife from Kampung Banggol Donas here lost RM2,500 in cash and valuables when her handbag was snatched at a food stall in Jalan Paya Keladi on Saturday.

The woman was having lunch with her sister when the man grabbed the handbag on the table. The man then jumped on a motorcycle ridden by an accomplice.

State CID chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Fauzi Abduri said the victim lost RM400, a gold chain, two gold bangles and a locket.
