Eat: Holiday pies

SCHOOL holidays are around the corner again and foodies ’n’ friends is organising two fun workshops at La Gourmet House in The Curve, Mutiara Damansara.

At the first workshop on May 25, there will be a session on baking pies.

Participants will be taught three types of pie crusts with different fillings:

- Beef and leek pie
- Chicken and mushroom pie
- Vegetarian Shepherd’s pie
This session is from 3pm to 5pm and costs RM95 per person inclusive of afternoon tea.

On May 27 from 11am to 1pm, there will be a special session for the kids.

Parents can leave their children and take off for a well-earned break.

The young ones will learn how to make cupcakes as well as chicken and macaroni bake. The cost is RM65 inclusive of lunch.
