KUCHING: As the probe into match-fixing in the Malaysian Super League deepens, the Anti-Corruption Agency is expected to make several arrests soon while police have identified a local syndicate involved in buying players.
ACA investigations director Datuk Shukri Abdull said the agency was in the final stages of the investigation.
"We have identified those involved in match-fixing and we will be picking them up very soon," he said.
State ACA sources said seven Sarawak players had been identified as having received between RM20,000 and RM25,000 for each match they "fixed".
