Stamps in honour of St John Ambulance

KUALA LUMPUR: St John Ambulance Malaysia will celebrate its 100th anniversary in style come May 22, with specially-issued first-day covers and commemorative stamps.

The first-day covers and stamps feature images of St John Ambulance members administering first aid, cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and its ambulance service.

"This is Pos Malaysia's way of showing our appreciation to St John Ambulance's tireless efforts throughout these years," Pos Malaysia business development and marketing manager Yasmin Ramli said at a media preview at the Stamps Gallery at the General Post Officeyesterday.

The stamps are available in 30 sen, 50 sen and RM1 denominations.
