Trader faces cheating charge

BUKIT MERTAJAM: A 42-year-old businessman from Johor was charged at a magistrate's court here yesterday with cheating involving RM200,000.

See Tze Thong of Batu Pahat, pleaded not guilty to:

- Receiving a cheque for RM20,000 from Huang Chin Sheng at Hsieh Tai Technology Sdn Bhd at Taman Nagasari, Prai, about 2pm on July 17, 2004; and

- Cheating Bu Tau Tong, 44, of Jalan Pulai, Skudai, Johor, of RM180,000 at the same place about 3pm on July 29, 2004.

Magistrate Raja Shahril Anuar Raja Baniaman allowed See RM20,000 bail in one surety and fixed Sept 4 for mention.
See allegedly failed to deliver computer components to both the businessmen as promised.

The accused was not represented.
