Empowering the child

CLOSE to 120 Malaysians attended the three Inner Engineering programmes since it was first conducted in Penang in February.

"More are joining the programme which is held over seven days and for three hours a day, said marketing consultant Ananda Naidu.

The next programme is in Kuala Lumpur from July 30 to Aug 5.

The programme in Penang is scheduled on Aug 6-12 at the Caring Society Complex.

A special programme for children between the ages of 7 and 12 will be held during the school holidays on Aug 16-23.
Mary Christine said not much yoga is taught to children as they are naturally in touch with themselves.

"We focus more on their capability on concentrating, to focus on their studies and maintaining high levels of energy throughout the day, whether at school or at home. They become more alert and energetic.

"The most beautiful thing is that the programme empowers the child, in the sense it makes them realise how much potential they have."
