STUDENTS at Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (MIIT), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) will be able to pursue an European Information and Communications Technology (ICT) certification programme next year.
This is the result of a collaboration between MIIT and Geneva Information Technology Institute (GITI) in Switzerland.
The certification, which is recognised by European countries, allows qualified individuals to work in Europe.
"Unlike other ICT certification programmes, which are confined to their own products, this GITI certification covers ICT core subjects," says MIIT Associate Professor Dr Roslan Ismail, after the ceremony to sign a memorandum of understanding between MIIT, UniKL and GITI recently.
MIIT specialises in computer networking, software engineering, multimedia animation, engineering business management and e-commerce.
