Team member Patrick Brault said they would showcase specially-designed fireworks, including "Igniters" and "Roman Candles" that would light up the sky in different shades of pastel. The performance, which took Brault 90 hours to choreograph, will last 23 minutes.

KLANG: Of the 1,027 road accident deaths in Selangor last year, 616 were motorcyclists and pillion riders. Road Safety Department director-general Datuk Suret Singh said Klang had the highest number of deaths with 155 cases. "Motorcyclists and pillion riders face a higher risk of death in accidents due to head injuries. This is why wearing helmets which comply with safety standards is important," he said at the launch of a helmet-wearing initiative programme at Sri Andalas here yesterday.
Mum, son die in crash
REMBAU: A mother and son died when their van collided with a lorry at Km28 of Jalan Seremban-Tampin here yesterday afternoon. Rosni Masri, 32, and Ahmad Faiz Abdul Razak, 16, died on the spot. Husband Abdul Razak Usop, 45, who was the driver, sustained minor injuries. The family was on its way from Tanjung Keling in Malacca to Bukit Miku here when Abdul Razak lost control of the vehicle and collided with a lorry. The bodies were taken to the Tampin Hospital.

KUALA LANGAT: Fire on Friday destroyed 40ha of the Kuala Langat Utara forest reserve, near Km24 of the Elite Expressway. The blaze, which began at 2.24pm was put out by firemen at 8pm.
