TEHERAN: Iranian Industry and Mines Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian said among the 56 Muslim countries, Iran, Malaysia and Turkey had the best conditions for car production, Iranian news agency, IRNA, reported.

Speaking during the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Saipa, an Iranian car company, and Proton, here on Friday, Mehrabian said Saipa and Proton could take advantage of their common capacities in car manufacturing to gain access to the huge Islamic market.
