ISKANDAR Raduan (pic) bagged the Expert class in Round Five of the Petronas Sprinta AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship in Kuala Terengganu yesterday.

The Petronas Sprinta Raceline rider completed the 15-lap race ahead of Shell Advance Maju's Ahmad Fazli Sham.

Mohd Zamri Baba (Petronas Sprinta Ah Hong) finished third.

With the win, Iskandar moves a rank higher to third overall in the standings with 60 points, while defending champion Fazli extended his lead to 102 points.

Team Shell Advance Maju Motor Racing are unshakable in the Team Awards.
Fazli and Fazrul have given them them a total of 173 points, 84 ahead of second placed Petronas Sprinta Raceline.

The Novice class race was won by Abdul Muhaimin Roslan for his second win of the season.

The Shell Advance Maju Motor Racing rider completed the 12-lap race ahead of Elly Idzliaikmal Ilias, followed by Emir Firdaus Hassan.

In the WIRA epg category, Sasitharen Sukumaran won the race but was disqualified due to technical infringement and Rozaiman Md Said was declared as race winner.

The Petronas Sprinta AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship will next head to Kuching, Sarawak on Aug 9-10.
