BY quitting Umno, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has played right into the hands of the opposition parties. They must be laughing their heads off.

To Dr Mahathir, I say: thank you for your past contributions. We don't like what you did by resigning, but we certainly will not miss you. We wish you well.
