BUTTERWORTH: Barisan Nasional Youth chief Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein felt the arrests of the Pakatan Rakyat executive councillors would be politicised in the run-up to the Permatang Pauh by-election.
"I hope that the people will be able to see the truth and judge the opposition politicians," he said, adding it was a lesson for Pakatan Rakyat which had accused BN politicians of being involved in corrupt practices.
"It serves them right.
"All this while, they have been creating perceptions that BN politicians were all useless and that we were corrupt.
"Now see what has happened to them within a short period of five months since forming the state government in Perak."
