SEREMBAN: A father and son had a harrowing experience when the three-tonne lorry the former was driving was hijacked at Bandar Baru Nilai on Tuesday afternoon.
The man and his 14-year-old son were headed towards Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur after they had picked up a consignment of designer watches and accessories from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
At 12.30pm, the driver made a stop in Bandar Baru Nilai as his son needed to use the toilet.
A police spokesman said that while waiting, the driver was attacked by a group of men.
"The driver, in his 40s, was stunned with a taser gun and passed out while the boy was tied up with a piece of cloth.
"Both of them were blindfolded and bundled into a car that headed for a petrol station in Jalan Rasah, where they were then thrown out."
The pair were rescued by a petrol station worker and later lodged a report.
