KUCHING: The state Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has predicted that the 10th state election will be held by the middle of next year.

The prediction is based on the recent influx of former Barisan Nasional leaders and members into the party.

Deputy state PKR chairman Wan Zainal Abidin Wan Senusi said the crossover of BN leaders, such as Ngemah assemblyman Gabriel Adit Demong, together with almost 12,000 of their supporters had strengthened PKR in the state.
