KUANTAN: Four people were killed when the van they were travelling in crashed into a bus at Km25 of the Kuantan-Sungai Lembing trunk road yesterday.

Those who died in the 7.30pm accident were van driver Hanafi Ibrahim, 67, from Kampung Panching here, his twin sons, Abdul Halim and Abdul Hakim, 16, and Hanafi's grandson, Abdullah Sahid, 14.

It is learnt that the accident was caused by the slippery conditions of the road after it rained in the evening. Firemen took 20 minutes to remove the bodies from the van.
