GREEK mythology’s Midas touch is just that in real life — a myth — unless, of course, one talks about the touch of Tous. Only difference is, the Tous touch not only involves diamonds, pearls, onyx or gold... it also touches on music.

Called Life Is Music with a tag line of “Rock in Pure Form”, Tous’s new collection pays tribute to songstress Kylie Minogue who battled with breast cancer in 2005.

Life is Music comprises a collection of rings, bracelet, earrings and pendants, which are available in yellow and white gold as well as diamonds.

“When we met Kylie, her happiness and vitality captivated us. After her visit, it was clear: Why not create a collection inspired by her world, which is music?” said Rosa Tous, its creative director.
The main feature in this collection is the famous Tous bear transformed into a guitar.

Another strong attraction is Kylie’s charm bracelet.

The stainless steel bracelet carries different symbols — hearts, sunglasses, stilettos, the microphone and the sun key. They are a summary of her world.

Kylie herself selected several motifs such as the shooting star, her star and her good luck charm.

To capture the 1980s vibes, a special rocker bag has been made in leather with motifs from the collection featuring metal charms. The bags are available in cream white and black.

Paloma inspired by Zellige



TIFFANY & Co, a New York-based jewellery and silverware maker, pampers women around the world with its latest offering called the Zellige Collection.

Designed by one of their renowned designers, Paloma Picasso, chic and bold are what jewellery lovers will find when they get their hands on this collection.

The collection is inspired from the fountain at her home in Morocco where she is mesmerised by the vibrant patterns of Zellige (colourful enamelled terracotta tiles) in geometric motifs — a material that architects use for ornaments.

Featuring patterns of open squares, angles, circles, symmetrical and puzzle-like shapes, Tiffany’s Zellige is available in 18-carat yellow or white gold.
