THE Tamil Artistes Association of Malaysia (PATM) is organising Hari Seniman Tamil Malaysia (Malaysian Tamil Artistes Day) on Aug 30.

The event pays tribute to all Tamil language actors, singers, television personalities, producers and directors. It will be held from 9am to 6pm at the Kalamandapam in Jalan Scott, off Jalan Tun Sambanthan, KL.

It will be officiated by MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.

The event’s organising chairman, Vijeyasingham Kandasamy, said it will feature music performances, sketches as well as talks by Tamil language artistes.

There are plans to hold it annually.
