KUALA LUMPUR: A policeman was among three people who pleaded guilty in the Sessions Court here yesterday to robbing a restaurant worker about two weeks ago.
Constable Muhamad Nur Waliyuddin Abd Majid, 21, bus driver Abu Bakar Subianto, 22, and unemployed Mohd Farez Mustazar, 20, had robbed an Indian national, Ayyavu Gannapandhithan, of RM2,545, a handphone and camera.
The incident occurred opposite the Masjid Jamek LRT station in Jalan Tun Perak here at 7.50pm on May 7.
Muhamad Nur Waliyuddin is attached to the Putra Police Station in Jalan Lumut here.
He, Abu Bakar and Mohd Farez committed the offence with four others still at large.
Judge Mohd Nasir Nordin granted bail of RM10,000 each, pending sentencing on June 23. None of them managed to raise bail. - Bernama
