GUA MUSANG: The Ciku Dua B Umno branch of Gua Musang division yesterday unanimously passed a resolution for Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to be nominated to defend his deputy president's post in Umno's polls in December.

Thirty other branches in the division, which have held their meetings, did not propose any names for the number two post.

However, all of them, including Ciku Dua B, had been unanimous in wanting Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, the head of the division, to contest the president's post.

Twenty-eight more branches of the division will be holding their meetings today. -- Bernama
