HELP Graduate school presents a seminar on Managing Risks in Merger and Acquisition Deals by Deloitte & Touche partner Alex Ooi today at 10am. The seminar is held at Room 1, Level 10, Wisma HELP, Jalan Dungun, Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.

It will touch on the merger and acquisition life cycle, potential risks and effective due diligence exercise carried out under the perspectives of the buyer and seller including an understanding of the role of key drivers of the business.

Short+Sweet is the biggest short play festival in the world. First produced at the Newtown Theatre in Sydney, Australia in 2002, Short+Sweet 2009 in Malaysia will feature 10-minute plays in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

The Annual Math Marathon is divided into two rounds — Written Mathematics test based on secondary school syllabus and Sudoku. The three best teams advance to round two.

l Art For Grabs, The Annexe Gallery’s arts and crafts bazaar, is happening again at its premises in Central Market on Sept 26 and 27.
The gallery is looking for art vendors who would like to participate in this event.
