CATCH: Chill out with dance

DANCE company Balletbase presents Chill Out With Contemporary Dance, a showcase that is part of the lead-up to the opening of The Actors Studio at Lot 10, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur later this month.

The 8.30pm showcase features five dance works, namely: - Angels Of Demons, which was choreographed some years ago by Bilqis Hijjas to the stirring sounds of Clint Mansell's music, and presented by the Balletbase dancers; - Glimpse by the Axis Dance Company from Singapore, directed by Tracy Van Der Linden; - A new work choreographed by Bilqis and performed by the Balletbase dancers; - A Plyed Experience choreographed by Rebecca Adam Barnett, first performed for Short + Sweet Malaysia 2009; and - A new work choreographed by Teresa Chian, with dancers from Living Arts Sunway.
