Weekend Watch: In search of good food

TWO new shows air this weekend over ntv7 and 8TV, starting with Chinese drama Roseate-Love, tomorrow at 4pm over 8TV.

After the death of her boyfriend, musician Wang Xiao Zi strives to fulfil her dream of becoming a famous singer.

Roseate-Love stars Rachael Liang, Tender Huang, Xu Wei Ning and Huang Bo Jun.

Meanwhile, A Date With Mei Fong will premiere over ntv7 on Sunday at 6pm.

Each week, host Mei Fong will bring a different celebrity along as she tours rural towns in search of the best local dishes and snacks.

The first episode sees her heading to Miaoli County to enjoy the great taste of freshly made Hakka noodles.

Formula 1 fans can catch the delayed telecast of the 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend.

The qualifying round will air tomorrow at midnight (early Sunday morning) while the race day airs on Sunday at 11pm.

Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix is the last race for the 2010 season and will see drivers race on the newly constructed Yas Marina Circuit.

On Sunday, catch The Making of... Whiteout over 8TV at 10am and The Making Of... Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs on ntv7 at 1.30pm.

Music fans, tune in to 8TV for Music On 8: Jet TV Special at 10am tomorrow, and The Beatles TV Special on ntv7 on Sunday at 3.30pm.

Addison and Sam work to bring the practice out of bankruptcy while all the doctors look for additional clients and new income streams.

It’s Christmas and everybody in the Montecito is forced to take part in Ed’s secret Santa gift exchange. Meanwhile, Danny’s car is stolen on Christmas Eve.
