Counsel Rajpal Singh who represents Navindran, the cop charged with beating A. Kugan who died in police custody asked for another mention date for the purpose of securing more documents before the case can go for trial.

Sessions court judge Aslam Zainuddin fixed Dec 3 for the second mention.
