START personal blogs, create groups and participate in forums to share your thoughts on the latest trends in security technology via Kaspersky Friends and Fan Klub (K-Klub).
The virtual club (www.kklub.net/) established by Kaspersky Lab, a developer of secure content management systems, deals with Internet security and antivirus.
This first virtual club of its kind in Malaysia aims to provide scoops on antivirus technologies and the fight against cybercrime.
Membership is free and covers a lifetime.
As K-Klub encourages user-generated content, members can create their own comics as part of its global storytelling movement or even upload IT security-related photos.
K-Klub is only accessible in English but Kaspersky Lab has plans to introduce local language versions.
This club also offers home and corporate members special K-Klub merchandise at discounted prices, birthday gifts and exclusive invitations to its events.
Fans who attend K-Klub events or invite friends to join the club or its events will be able to gather points which can be redeemed for rewards and discounts on Kaspersky Lab merchandise. — By CHANDRA DEVI RENGANAYAR
