Man falls in water near port, goes missing

ALOR GAJAH, Sat: A passenger boat worker was reported missing after he fell into the sea, off the Kuala Linggi port near here today.

Rosmarnirsyam Rosli, 25, was with his father, Rosli Samah, 52, and another worker, to fetch passengers from a trading ship docked at the harbour when he lost his balance and fell into the water.

Alor Gajah police chief Supt Umar Ali Shaifuddin Shaharuddin said the incident occured at 8am, about three nautical miles from the port. -- BERNAMA
