SINGAPORE actor Ng Chin Han, who is in Roland Emmerich’s epic doomsday thriller 2012 as the Tibetan Tenzin, has landed another Hollywood role.
He will appear as a doctor in award-winning director Gus Van Sant’s still untitled coming-of-age drama, which was previously known as Restless, reports Channel News Asia.
Chin Han also starred as a villain in Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight.
AWARD-winning actress Maggie Cheung has agreed to grace Taiwan’s Golden Horse Film Awards, the Chinese language equivalent of the Oscars, on Saturday, as a presenter.
This is the five-time Golden Horse award-winning actress’s first appearance at the event in nine years.
Meanwhile, there’s speculation that Carina Lau has declined an invitation to represent husband Tony Leung at the function because of Maggie’s presence. It is no secret that there’s a long running feud between both actresses over Tony that spans 20 years.

DIRECTOR Jingle Ma will be shooting the sequel to his hit 2000 romantic comedy Summer Holiday, that was partly shot in Redang and Malacca, in March next year. The movie grossed HK$21 million (RM9.2 million) and was nominated in four categories at the 20th Hong Kong Film Awards.

She was honoured for her edgy acting as Park Kija, a chief editor for the fashion magazine Style in the SBS TV series Style, the Korean version of Hollywood film The Devil Wears Prada.
