GEORGE TOWN: Police are re-looking the case of a man who drowned in Sungai Udang, Nibong Tebal early this month after family members alleged there was foul play.
State Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner II Wan Abdullah Tuanku Said said G. Guakanthan's father, S. Govindasamy, wanted his son's remains exhumed for another post-mortem.
The 31-year-old victim's body was found floating in the river three days after he left his house to meet a friend. He had told his family to file a police report if he did not return.
