THINKING of getting a new shirt? Your shopping trip would not be complete without dropping by at Dude & The Duchess, a new shirt shop in Bangsar Village II, Kuala Lumpur.
Headed by Benjamin Yong, Richard Tsen and Benedict Read, Dude & The Duchess is the long-awaited solution for men and women who seek individuality in their wardrobes.
But don’t expect the typical corporate shirts. At Dude & The Duchess, personal style is expressed through dress shirts, jackets, skirts and pants. Most come in limited editions.
Think florals running riot under a sombre leather jacket or bold stripes peeking out from collar and cuffs. Then there are innovative key items like the removable collar shirt and men’s belt, a trendy and convenient accessory that guys can wear over their pants to dress it up.
Attention to detail is evident throughout the collection as fashion director Tsen believes it’s details that define individual style. He also believes that it’s not what you wear but the way you wear it. Fabrics used vary from Japanese cotton to yarn-dyed strips, silk and wool. Prices range from RM129 to RM339.
Dude & The Duchess is located at UGF-19, Upper Ground Floor, Bangsar Village II, Jalan Telawi 1, KL.
