Ash in Singapore

insidepix1

NORTHERN Ireland’s finest alternative rockers Ash will headline the Singapore Beer Festival at Fort Canning Park on Oct 2, 2008.

Inspired by Nirvana, Mudhoney and Pixies, Ash burst onto the UK scene with three top five singles in 1994 when its members were still in secondary school.

In 1996, they released their seminal album 1977 which led to worldwide acclaim and an international cult following which they enjoy to this day.

The band has released many memorable hits over the years such as Goldfinger, Oh Yeah, Burn Baby Burn, Girl From Mars, A Life Less Ordinary, Polaris, Kung Fu, Angel Interceptor etc.

The band is a perennial headliner at major music festivals such as T in the Park, Glastonbury, Nano-Mugen Music Festival, Roskilde, Reading and many more.

Don’t miss your chance to see the original lineup of Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray when Ash rocks across the Causeway.

Tickets start from S$95 (RM200) till Oct 1, and S$110 after that. Visit www.sistic.com.sg or call 02-63485555. For more information log onto www.lamcproductions.com.
