SUN Microsystems has announced the latest version of its flagship service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business integration software. Java Composite Application Platform Suite 6 (Java CAPS 6) enables users to leverage on existing and new IT investments to create an infrastructure that is more agile and better aligned with the needs of their organisations. Sun’s vice president, marketing, software infrastructure Mark Herring said Java CAPS 6 is a result of Sun’s collaboration with the open source community, so the software is modular and not vendor locked-in. |
