Sleeker Linksys wireless routers
Siti Syameen Md Khalili

LINKSYS has introduced its next-generation wireless routers – the Wireless-G Broadband Router (WRT54G2), Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router (WRT160N) and Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Gigabit Router (WRT310N) that sport a sleeker and antenna-less formfactor.

According to Linksys regional sales director, Asia, Tang Boon Ping, the new routers showcases the way in which Linksys is taking Wireless-G and Wireless-N to new levels of design, performance and ease-of-use.

To enable easy setup and management of network devices, users can rely on LELA, or Linksys EasyLink Advisor, an application that comes shipped with the three new routers, he said.

“LELA offers hassle-free setup in about six simple steps. The application also helps keep the network secure, automatically checks for updates as well as facilitates the addition of new devices into the network,” Tang says.

The WRT54G2, WRT160N and WRT310N are retailed at RM175, RM320 and RM469 respectively.
