RCG Malaysia, which specialises in biometrics and radio
frequency indentification security systems, is expanding its reach into new segments of the market.
Its deputy chief executive officer Datuk Lee Boon Han says the company is currently moving into the consumer security product market space. This, he adds, is part of the company’s strategy to continuously extend and expand its portfolio of innovative products.
In line with the strategy, RCG has signed on beauty queen Josephine Goh as its brand ambassador. Affectionately known to fans as Jojo, she will be featured in the worldwide marketing campaigns for RCG’s expanding product range.
According to Lee, the appointment of Goh as brand ambassador is timely as it reflects the company’s continuous efforts towards building a brand that customers can recognise and trust.
Goh, who was second runner-up of Miss Malaysia Chinese International 2006, was chosen because she is said to have a personality that complements the forward-thinking attributes of the company.
She has already started appearing on RCG’s consumer-based security product marketing campaign.
