Besides offering the latest products, the 3,300-square feet store is designed to enable customers to enjoy digital lifestyle shopping with a hands-on experience.

The centre features various sections for demonstrating different Apple hardware and software, including the iPod, iMac, Mac mini, MacBook and MacBook Pro, and Apple’s software for video editing, audio editing and digital

photography. Shoppers can even experience the Apple TV.

The centre also brings to consumers the widest selection of third-party accessories to complement the iPod – over 1,000 accessories from 100 brands. These include brand names that are exclusive to

epiCentre such as Rain Design,

iWorld, Z-bar and Scandyana Pod speakers.

To add more value, epiCentre‘s operations director Johnson Goh said the store will offer shoppers and visitors a comprehensive shopping experience with services such as iConcierge, training and seminar and Repair Clinic.

IConcierge, he explained, is a customer service centre that helps customers in pre- and post-sales enquiries.

In addition, it offers services such as trade-up programme for used iPods and computers,

troubleshooting, data transfe, and backup and installation of new

applications.

As for training, Goh said it holds free as well as after-sales paid training.

The free training-cum-seminar will be provided to customers who buy a Mac or iPod from the store.

room can accommodate up to

20 people at a time, according to Goh.

Certified trainers are available to provide the necessary training on Apple applications such as iLife and the newly released Mac OS X Leopard.

The store’s Repair Clinic, Goh said, is an Apple Authorised Service Centre that provides after-care

support for all Apple products regardless of where it was purchased from.

The centre also has a mission, he pointed out, and that is to attract and convert personal computer users to Mac users with its holistic service approach.
