KUALA TERENGGANU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi wants all mosques to hold special prayers for peace in Palestine after the Friday prayers.

He said he had asked Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to inform all the mosques.

"I call on Muslims in the country to perform solat hajat after Friday prayers at the same time," he said after performing Isyak prayers and solat hajat with the congregation at Engku Long Mosque, Kuala Ibai, here last night. -- Bernama
