PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is to visit Sabah at the end of this month to address outstanding issues in the state.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Bernard Dompok said the prime minister had given an indication for the visit.
Current issues in the state include the possibility of Sabah Barisan Nasional members of parliament defecting to the opposition, MPs unhappy with the cabinet representation, infrastructure development and illegal immigrants.
These issues were raised in the Dewan Rakyat recently.
